Ashley Stevenson was raised in French Settlement and graduated from French Settlement High School in 2007. She completed her undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University in 2011 and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Ashley joined the Crawfish Aquatics full time staff in 2012 teaching swimming lessons. In 2017 she became the Director for Crawfish Swim School on Siegen Lane. Ashley takes an active role in spreading the word of water safety to schools within the Baton Rouge community and surrounding areas. She enjoys teaching swimming from ages 2 months up to adults. Ashley has certifications in Infant/Toddler Swimming, Special Abilities, CPR and First Aid/AED. She also attained her certification from the Aquatic Exercise Association to teach water aerobics.
Ashley resides in Denham Springs with her husband, Chris, and four daughters, Adeline (4), Emery (4), Hadley (3), and Sophie (10m). They are members of Lifepoint Church in Prairieville. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. One of her favorite quotes to live by is “Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you are doing.”
Kayla Dysart was raised in Baton Rouge and graduated from Bishop Sullivan High School. She began teaching swimming lessons at Crawfish Aquatics in the summer of 2006. In 2008 she began coaching the 8 & Under and Age Group Divisions on the swim team while continuing to teach lessons and help train new instructors every summer. In 2010 she joined the full time staff at Crawfish Aquatics as the Director of the Developmental Competitive Division. When Crawfish Aquatics opened their first swim school in January 2017, Kayla was thrilled to go back to her roots in swimming lessons to become the Crawfish Swim School Director. She loves coaching children of all ages but has a passion for helping children gain confidence in the water and learn to love swimming through swimming lessons.
Kayla’s mother and Gramma taught her the art of quilting when she was seventeen. She enjoys quilting and embroidery and is a member of the Krotz Springs Quilters Guild. She also enjoys running and triathlons. She participated in two triathlons in 2021 and will be running the Louisiana Half Marathon with her running buddies in January 2022. Her favorite way to spend her free time, though, is in the company of her family and friends. Kayla resides in Baton Rouge with her husband, Marc, their two sons James (2) and Max (1), and their dog, Finn.
Sarah Mobley was raised in New Orleans and graduated from Ursuline Academy in 2011. She completed her undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. Sarah joined the Crawfish Aquatics staff as an age group and developmental coach in 2013. She began working at the Crawfish Swim School on Siegen Lane in 2017 while obtaining her master’s degree from Ball State University in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis on Autism Spectrum Disorders. She worked as a behavior therapist with children aged 2 to 21 on the autism spectrum at the Center of Autism and Related Disorders for three years before rejoining the Crawfish Swim School location as the Director in Prairieville in the summer of 2019. Sarah was so excited to combine her two loves of helping children and swimming with the intention of building a special abilities program.
Sarah resides in Prairieville and enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Her hobbies include traveling, swimming, and reading.
